The subject’s computer-generated likenesses rupture her visage, causing the subject and peacock feather to flatten and expand as they fuse with unnatural human forms approximating the matter of their beings.
Peacocks rely on their feathers to showcase health and genetic fitness. Here, the feather retains its function as an eye-catching symbol. Rather than signifying the health of the bird, however, it crowns the genetic feats of the machine as it sews a mutated tapestry imitating human fabric.
